<v MEETING OF METHOD IST CHURCH DELEGATES. Jv e prose nta ti ve Christ ch u rob ]\ 1 e t lj odists held a meeting yesterday afternoon in tho Durham Street, Church parlour to plan their work in connection with the coming River Bank Carnival. Tho Kcv W. A. iSinolair presided and delegates were present- from twenty-one churches. The Rev H. E. Bollh.ouse. chairman of the Christ-chuvcli Mini; tors' Association, explained tlm circumstances which led up to the. pledge ma-'te- h.v the churches of to assist as far a-.? possible the '-arnival's, funds. The following motion was ihon carried unanimously : ' ; Tbat we. represent; u::; the Methodists, of Christ church, re-oico to heartily co-oners to \\ ith the l?i vetBank Carnival to raise funcb for patriotic purposes; and thai this meeting bo a central committee to fnrt'mr the campaign to its suee.essr'ul completion."'
