ENEMY IN THE REAR. (Received December 19, 4 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, December 18. The Germans fear that the British intend to land troops at Zeebrugge. Twenty thousand men are manning trenches in dunes between Ostend and the Dutch frontier, supported by a number of batteries. Many Belgian refugees are escaping to Holland fearing the consequences of an Allied advance.
