(Received December 19, 4 p.m.) LONDON, December ISOfficial:— Colonel Pretorius reports that he followed a spoor and found Commandant Fourie's laager, in a-strong position, on a river bed at Nooitgedacgt. Major Trewe's police, by a surrounding movement from the north, closed tho path of escape. The fight lasted till dark, when the rebel position was gallantly stormed with a loss of ten killed and twenty-one wounded. ! • The rebels lost two- killed and four j wounded. Forty-five wer* taken' prisoners, including Fourie.
