Th© first to begin were- Afton Loch and Izdubar, who led nearly all the way, Gregory getting up to win by a neck, Izdubar a length and a half away. From a good start Rival and Lady Marcia soon drew clear, Gapon leading the second division. Lady Marcia dropped out five furlongs from home. Entering the straight Troon and Gold Coin moved up. Reval was never troubled and won by a length, Troon four lengths away and Taskmaster three lengths further back, just ahead of Gapon. Time—2min 15sec.
