APPEALS ABUNDANT.

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD. (By Telegraph—Special to " Star.") WELLINGTON, March 16. The Public Service Appeal Board has completed the hearing of six hundred Wellington appeals against the Commissioners' classification and will leave to-night for Blenheim. The Board will tour the whole of the South Island and sit. in CKristchurch on March 24, and afterwards visit North Island centres. It is understood that eight hundred appeals have been lodged by employees outside Wellington.
