SOUTHERN NOTES. [Per Press Association-! OAMARU. March 5. For the purpose of solidifying the forces of Liberalism in view of the coming general elections, a meeting of members of the party was held last Considerable enthusiasm was shown, and it was decided to ask three or four of the party's best platform men to address a public meeting to be held shortly. Nothing has been done as yet as to the selection of a candidate.
