TO-DAY'S CASES. (Before Mr.T.'A. B. Bailey, S.M.) DRINK. Two' male first offenders were each fined 55., in default twenty-four hours' imprisonment. A HIGH STREET FIGHT. With thick Scotch brogue John Fraser admitted that he had had five drinks, and could nob remember whether he had fought in High Street yesterday with William Hayes, who. appeared in the dock with him. and thereby caused a breach of the peace. He had just come in from Waikari. Constable Jesse Edgar said that he had seen the accused fighting in High Street, and had arrested them.
