Three first offenders for drunkenness, two men and one woman, were each fined ss; in default twenty-four hours' imprisonment. Rkmandkd. —Two lads, Herbert lies and Harold Grace, wore charged with stealing a bicvele valued at £C, the property of Charles Ranger. ChiefDetective Bishop stated thai there were additional charges pending, and he would ask for a remand until Tuesday next. The application was granted, bail being allowed in one surety of £2o. The Justices directed that should bail not be forthcoming the.accused were to be kept apart from all other prisoners. —On a charge of failing to provide for the maintenance of his illegitimate child Jeremiah O'Leary was remanded till to-morrow;. Mr Donnelly appeared for the complainant. . Ctcmsts ix Trouiiltc.—For cycling on a footpath Peter James Little was fined 7s and costs.—Fines of 10s and costs were imposed in the cases against Arthur Coxhead and Ernest Eraser, who had ridden bicycles at night without having a'light.—A youth, Melville Angus, who had ridden a motor-cycle at- night without having a light attached, was fined' 10s and costs. The Tail-Light. —D. TV; Westenra admitted that he had driven a motorcar in Armagh Street at night when the registered number was not easily distinguishable. He was fined 10s and costs.
