M'LEAN INSTITUTE.

A meeting of the Board of Governors at the M'Lean Institute was held this afternoon; present—Mesdames A. G. Sandstein and .T. H. Wilson, Messrs G. Harper (in the chair). J. 0. Adams Mud Rev C. H. Laws and Rev John Mackenzie. Apologies for absence were received from the Mayor, Messrs H. W. Bishop, ft.M., F. Horrell and B. M. Molineaux. It was resolved that if, in the opinion at the Finance Committee, the funds would permit, it be a recommendation to the Board that another cottage for the accommodation of six beneficiaries be opened as ■&<*>» as possible. Accounts amounting to £272 8s 9d were passed for payment.
