GUATEMALA.
THE BRITISH DEMANDS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. —Copyright. (Received May 15, 1.15 p.m.) LONDON, May 14. A Washington message says that private advices state that Guatemala has acceded to the British demands to settle her debts. Mr W. J. Bryan, United States Secretary of State, asked Britain to extend the time given to Guatemala, but the British reply has not yet been received.
