ANTI-ALIENISM.
CALIFORNIAN LEGISLATION. By TelegTaph.—Presß Association. —Copyright. (Received Mav 15, 1 p.m.) LONDON, May 14. A New York message says that Governor Johnson has decided to sign the Anti-Alien Bill on the ground that, the question gravely affects California. Both Houses of the Legislature have passed the measure almost unanimously. The Bill, he says, does nothing not done by the other States, and the Legislature simply made tho existing Federal treaties part of the State's laws.
