MOUNT LYELL REPORT. By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright. (Received Mav 15, 9.55 a.m.) MELBOURNE, May 15. The half-yearly report of the Mount Lyell Company showed a credit to profit and loss account of £520,370, and liquiH assets in excess of liabilities £494,519. Ore reserves were 1,079,384 tons. Owing to difficulties in pumping and cleaning the mine the directors regret that they are unable to state when the usual conditions will be restored, but hope that they will be so in June.
