Wood, Acting Coroner, and a jury of six, Constable Flarvoy said that it was impossible to place evidence ivforo the jury for a wook._ owiny; to Mrs Littlewocd's serious condlton. I It was impossible for the police to show how tho fire was canned, but it was surmised that decjasc-d set fire to the house. He believed the body to be that of Littlewoo.d. but it was so charred thai it was impossible to identify it. An incision was found in^tiie ! throat, apparently running from left to ripht, but" the. nock was badly burnt. arid it was impossible to trace the cut j on the ri<*ht sidf. I The inquest was adjourned till May ' <i.
