A message from San Francisco says that Senator Thompson 'is drafting a law barring land ownership to those belonging to a race which the Federal laws have declared to be ineligible for citizenship. The Bill will be submitted to Mr Bryan immediately he arrives in California.
Dr Wilson informed the reporters in Washington that the attitude of the Japanese Government was perfectly friendly. The remonstrances were couched in a tone of respectful urgency.
