ESPIONAGE.
A Berlin message says that Kohler, convicted of espionage at Leipsio on behalf of Russia and France, was sentenced to seven years' imprisonment, and his wife to nine months. THE YOKOHAMA CASE.
The merchant Wheeler, who was arrested in January at Tokio on a charge of obtaining money under false pretences, but who was at first arrested without any charge being made against him, has been sentenced to four years' penal servitude, and has appealed against his sentence.
KOREAN FOREIGN SETTLEMENTS. At Seoul the representatives of Japan and the foreign Powers have signed a draft agreement abolishing foreign settlements in Korea.
