A dividend ol < per cent has beeii declared on preference shares and o per cent on shares. The Bum of £40,000 has been added to tho reserve, £2OOO to the provident fund and £25.042 earned forward. The wool sales are firm, and prices are unchanged. There is strong Continental competition for all fine grades of liierinoes. Silver is quoted at 27 o-lGd. . Talisman shares are at 42s 6d to 4is 6cl. Marconi's shares are quoted at £9 10s, the rise in price being largely due to /success in an action against tho United Wireless Company of America.
