Notices have been posted in all tho mills in North and .North-east Dancasliii'O that they will close to-night. The Spinners' Federation lias decided to curtail production by three days weekly. The "Daily News" questions the wisdom of the unions in calling on the capitalists to practically enforce Union discipline instead of trusting to the esprit do corps. Other Liberal newspapers discourage the Unions' extreme action.

The Broken Hill miners have rescinded tho motion recently adopted that in the event of a member of the Association being killed in any mine, tho whole of the members will cease wors for one shift.
