It was stated that she had been under the influence of drink when sho took the articles. Restitution had been made. Sho was fined 20s and costs, in default fourteen days' imprisonment. Anotheii Overcoat Stolkx.—JohnDe Me/.a was charged with having stolen a silk muffler, a pair of gloves and an overcoat, valued at £4 Bs, the property of Oliver H. Barries. He admitted the offence. The police stated that the muffler and gloves had been in the pockets of the coat, which had been hanging up in the vestibule of St Luke's Church. Ho was fined 40s and costs, in default oas? month's imprisonment.
