The closure was carried by 616 to Mr " Affar-Robartes's amendment to reject the Bill was negatived, by 410 to 84. f The Declaration Bill was then read * second time. THE COMMONWEALTH ADDRESS. I Mr Redmond urged Mr Asquith to communicate to members, the Commonwealth's address to "the King relating to the declaration oath. Mr Asnuith. replied that he noticed by Press telegrams that the Commonwealth House had unanimously voted an address, hut'the text had not yet been received.
