United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received July 29, 8.45 a.m.) LONDON, July 28
The Protestant Truth Society has entered a protest against the new Oath on'the ground that it does not provide against a mental reservation or a papal dispensation, and is merely on parallel linos to the oaths taken by Charles 11. and James 11.,* both of which proved ineffective. The members of the Society marched in procession to Downing Street and cried "No Popery, - ' but the police stopped them.
