"THE GIRL FROM RECTOR'S."
[FROM OUR COhRK 3ro X D E,VT. J WELLINGTON, July 27
There is said to be a flutter in the dovecote of Wellington at tlio promised production of " Trie Girl From Rector's," 'which, by the way, passed the censorship of both Duriedin and' Christ - church. Tho pesters, however, have conic under the attention of .somebody in Wellington, and some of them have now been covered with smaller posters. Theatrical gossip is that the lessees of tho poster boards undertook the process of censorship themselves, But this appears improbable. At all events, members of tho Ministers' Association interviewed the Minister of Justice today, but no information.- has leaked' ont a3'to the representations-made or the reply, and tho Minister declines to make a statement regarding it. It is understood that a public depute liion, which threatened to wait 011 Dr Findlay, will now .wait for the verdict of some duly-appointed first-nighter, who will spy out the land.
