After his Ascot Gold Cup performance Beyiirdo jv»s freely described by his admirers as the best and most brilliant horse in the world at the present time. It is understood that Lady Lucy, Milan. Equitas ond Mafter Xiaddo will be shipped to Sydney from Wellington on Fridav, and that Gold Lace, .Effort and Iranui will malco the trip a week later. The New Zealand-bred horse Annapolis, by Phoebus Apollo—Koxaua, has arrived at Melbourne from Perth, to undergo a preparation for the Caiufield and Melbourne Cups. Garrison, by Phoebus Anollo—Yivandiere, was a recent winner at Ascot, nee.r Melbourne.
