Wheat. — 11,500 quarters Australian December-January shipment sold at 38s 7idCopper.— Electrolytic, £59 7s 6d per ton. . Tin.— On spot, £139 2s 6d per ton; three months', £140 12s 6d per ton. Hares and Rabbits.— The market for rabbits is firm ; large Sydney, 16s 6d to 17s ; Melbourne, 15s 6d to 16s ex store. Hares are rather easier, at 2s 9d to 3s. Rabbitskins.— At the sales 2970 bundles were offered, and all were sold. Well-furred advanced ljd to 2d; kittens and light sorts, id. Shares.— Waihi, buyers £9 11s 3d, sellers £9 13s 9d.

Cheese,—- The market is steady, with the demand moderate; New Zealand (small suppM, 575. Hemp. — The market is steady, and prices are unchanged ; New Zealand, good fair on spot, £27 lss per ton; fair nrade on spot, £26 16s; fair current Manila on spot, £26 155; October-Decem-ber shipments: New Zealand, good fair grade, £27 10s ; fair grade, £26 10s ; fair current Manila, £25 10s.
