♦— ■ ■ The Sumner Seniors played Woolston at Woolston, and won by 101 runs on the first innings. In their first innings Sumner made 134 (W. Lawson 69 not out, C. Collins 17). Woolston made 83. .For Sumner J. J. Stevens took five wickets fpr 5 runs. At Sumner on Saturday the local I : Junior team defeated United by 5 runs on the first innings. For the winners D. Hill (19), and for the losers R. Watson (13) and A. Allsop (17) were the double-figure scorers. For Sumner E. Bonnington and W. Bamford divided the bowling honours, and Faulkner and Foughey bowled best for the losers. ' A match was played at St Albans Park between St Matthew's and Crescent Road Sunday-schools, resulting in a win for the former by fourteen runs. St Matthew's made 69 and 39 (Quartermain 20 and 11, Small 17, Cplville 12). Crescent Road responded with 39 and 55 (E. Harland 11, Looas 27).
