BLENHEIM, May 5. The Marlborough Racing Club's Autumn Meeting began to-day in fine weather. Tho following are the results:— .-.
HACK HURDLE HANDICAP, of 60 8 ov#; one mile and a half— Diplomatic, 9st 9lb, 1; Scenery, 9st 13lb, 2; Lerida, lOst 61b, 3. Rendrock and Ro.egrove were scratched. Time— 2min 53 3-ssec.
MAIDEN HACK HANDICAP, of 50 sovs; five furlongs— Twinkle 1, Waiata 2, Overrate 3. Gold Top and Tainini were scratched. Won easily. Time— lmin 4 l-ssec. MARLBOROUGH CUP, of 200 sovs; one mile and a quarter — Maiora, Bst 4lb. 1; Silken Rein, Bst 4!b, 2; Osiris, 7at 12lb, 3, Belario was scratched. Time — 2min Usee.
OPAWA WELTER HANDICAP, of 60 sovs; seven furlongs— Gold Bird, Bst 51b, 1; Aotea, 9st lllb, 2; Flint Gun, Bst, 3. Vinoo w«g scratchad. Time— lmin 30 2-5-ec.
FLYING HANDICAP, of 100 sovs; six furlongs'— Tunint. 9st 10-b, 1; Irish Rifle, Bst 101b, 2; Rock Ferry, 7st slb, 3. Burton was scratched. Time — Imin 15 4-ssec.
