♦ — ' — [From Our Correspondent.] DUNEDJN, May 3. The reception of Sir Joseph Ward's jipeech was undemonstrative, but this is quite characteristic of Invercargill audiences at political meetings. The Ifeeling seemed to be that there were too many figures introduced. Undoubtedly the Dreadnought proposal was the most popular, the remarks in relation Jo it being received with much enthusiasm.
