[Pum Press Association.] AUCKLAND, August 22. _ The Coroner's inquest on tho body of i Fong Mong Chee, who died from wouuds inflicted in a fight with a knife I and gun, resulted in a verdict that , death was caused by a gunshot wound [ feloniously inflicted by Louio Shue Hook. The Coroner said that the vor- [' diet amounted to one of manslaughter. An inquest was held at the Adding- | ton police station this afternoon before Mr H. W. Bishop, Coroner, touch- ; ing the death of a man nanied ; Walker, Olarke, alias Dunn, who was found dead in his bod this . morning at the Samaritan Home. ; He was last seen at eight o'clock, last ; night, and he was in the last stages of \ consumption whey setit to the Home, . which he preferred to gaol, as he had ' been sentenced to six months' .impri- \ sonment in May last. After bearing the evidenco of tho man who was look- \ ing after Clarke tho jury .returned a , verdict of death from natural causes.
