The match between Wanganui and Soxitmand tvae played on the iiecreation Ground this afternoon, in fairly fine weather and' before a poor attendance of spectators. An interesting game resulted in a win for Wanganui by ten points to six. jjfcue teams were iaidy j^yftuiy itched,. Jfie Southland forwards, if anything, berhg better than "Wanganui, especially in loose dribbling rushes. The backs were an even lot, though the visitors ,were superior in line-kicking.
