While endeavouring to alight from a swiftly-moving tritmcar in Upper SyftLond Street last evening, a young woman named Whiteleigh, aged about tiventy-twc' years, whose parents reside in Lichfieid Street, Ponsonby, fell and sustained such severe injuries to her head that she died within four hours after the accident.

A man named Ellis burst a blood vessel at the Waikaia railways works this morning, and death resulted.
