Owing to tho Compositors' aud /rinters' Unions striking in obedience k» the orders of the Labour Confederation, many Paris papers did not appear to-day. Several other tirades have struck. The Socialist Committee accuses the Government of murdering workers. The chief organ of the Labour Confederation publishes a cartoon of tbo head of the Premier, M. Clemenceau, on a pike, under the title "l'Assassin." There are many wild appeals to ro•ort to violence, but the general community urges the Government to vigorously defend law and order.
