LONDON, August 3, A fixe, originating in the kitchen, on Bunday afternoon destroyed the eastern part of Normanhurst Court, Lord Brassey's Sussex seat. Though many fine works of art and treasures collected during the Sunbeam's voyages were l»ved, many were destroyed. After five hours the fire was extinguished. Xrfxrd Brassey, while directing the operations of a fireman, from the roof, had a narrow escape from falling into the debris. A large house party aalisted in the rescue of the treasures.
