PROFESSIONALISM IN ENGLAND.

The committee of the English Rugby Union has just concluded an inquiry into allegations of professionalism. As a result it bag been decided to suspend F. Jackson, a member of the team now I touring in New Zealand, from further i participation in the tour, and to recall him by cable. [Per Press Assocukon.l WELLINGTON, June 25. Seen bya " Post" representative refarding the suspension of Jackson, both Ir G. H. Harnett (manager) and Mr A. F. Harding (captain) stated that they had no knowledge of the allegations made, but that the direction of the English Union would be followed. Jackson will not play in any of the remaining matches of the tour.
