Splendid rains have fallen, up to eight inches in th© northern districts. All the rivers are flooded, and the railway traffic is disorganised by floods and washaways. Two trains with supplies for Cloncurry are stuck twenty-six miles out of town. Camel teams have been engaged to take on the goods.
