A boilermaker named John Kelly iand his wife retired to rest and the family were awakened in the middle of the night by screams. A son found his father cutting his mother's throat. Kelly rushed at his son shouting "I'm •madi." "When the son returned with assistance he found tliat Kelly had cut his own throat, and both he and his wife were dead. Kelly had been drinking lately.
