The CautcrWry laying Club flew off a. race from Invercarpii! on Saturday. The birds wore liberated by Mr Strong, at 7 a.m., in showery weather. Tho winner was Mr J. Pegley's No. 100, which completed th© jou?ney of 291 miles 1517 yards in Bhr 6min 57sec. at a velocity of 1018 yds per minute. Mr G. Brunt's No. 554 was second, with 1001 yds, and Mr F. D. Wilson's Southern 1 Star tvas third, ■vviUi 993 yds per minute.
