Uver one hundred delegates are attending tho colonial conference of the ISo-hcense Party, Mr Adams presiding It was stated that the whole of the Alliance debt was extinguished. It had been neoessary to find £2000, and this was now m hand, and further amounts to come in would provide a credit balance for future work. A long discussion took place on the principles and policy of the party ; and the desirableness of a colonial vote upon the liquor question, and the equity of settling any question submitted to tlie popular vote- by a simple majority were re-affirmed.
