POULTRY SHOW.
The Christchurch Poultry, Pigeon and Canary Club's show is open at the Colosseum for the second time to-day, and is fairly well patronised. During the morning the attendance was limited to enthusiastic fanciers, who were desirous of selecting birds for sale, and a ve>ry large number of birds was "claimed." The Christchurch shows are always very successful in bringing buyers and sellers together, and the present show seems likely to make a good record of sales. Mr J. Maude (Sydney), who is judge of Wyiandottes, Orpingtons, Modern Game and Game Bantams in the poultry section and all the fancy varieties of pigeons, arrived about the middle of the day, and at once took up his work. The classes of Wyandcttes and Orpingtons are very large, but Mr Maude has made good progress witli them, and arrangements have been made to announce the results as speedily as possible.
