At a meeting of the Council of the Royal Geographical Society, (held in London" on December 17, on the proposal of Sir Clements R- Markham, X.C.8., Mv C. Reginald Ford, of this, city, was elected a Fellow of the Society- Mr Ford was a member of .the British Antarctic Expedition of 1901-4. He afterwards lectured in America, Canada and Australia on the work 01 ' the expedition.
