Turning for home Leeside and Faro drew right away, and, after a desperate finish, Faro won by half a head, Wee M'Gregor beinc about twenty; lengths away, followed by ErrorJind' Black Squall. At the seven furlong post the field was bunched, but "a furlong further on The. Guesser moved up to j Cuiragno. Turnings for home, Cuiragno drew oxA ajain, and led to the last hurdle, juat i cleaT of The Guesser, Prospector and Roma-ay j King-. Once on the flat. Prospector ohal- i le-nged Cuiraspo, and, getting the best of a punishing? finish, he won by two lengths, ' Romany King being- three lengths »way. followed by The Guesser and Silverlene.
