Mr Field, M.H.R., speaking at Levm last night, suggested that there was a flaw in the Education Act of last seseion. and hy it Education Boards were justified in their action witli regard to the appointment of teachers. He said it was not clear that it -was obligatory that Boards should submit six names ■ to the committees, and both the Wellington, and Wanganui Boards were making appointments under the ; old system.
