Luneta led to the distance, where Rockby put in his claim, and, getting in I rent at'ihe 'iawn raiis, »as.cd long &nougii to win by a neck, 'iirue — lmin 35sec. dividends — <S3 6s and £3 15s. Irish assumed command six furlongs from home, followed by Waitarere.
