Admiral Togo reports that the com- , . mander of the Kasuga, wfib returned with the survivors of the Dmitri Donskoi, reports that on the morning of May 29 the Dmitri Donskoi opened her Kingston valve and sank. Those on board, including the survivors from the Oslyaba and the destroyer Bouinui, landed at tfrleung Island. The Bouinui took aboard Admiral Rozjestvensky and his staff before the flagship sank, and also took 200 survivors from the Oslyaba, but, finding navigation difficult, transferred the admiral and, his staff to the destroyer Bildory, and, running northward, met the Dmitri Donskoi, to which all on board were % transferred. Afterwards the Bouinui herself sank. The survivors of the Dmitri Donskoi state that they saw two destroyers sink while in the thick of the battle. This makes a total of five i_ Russian destroyers sunk.
