PRICELESS RELICS STOLEN.
ROBBERY OF A RUSSIAN MONASTERY. In July of last year many ancient and priceless relics were stolen from the sacristy of the monastery at Gaenat, iv Georgia, Russia. . . Believing it probable that the thieves will endeavour to dispose of the articles to museums or collectors, the Russian Government, through their Ambassador, have furni&hed the British foreign Office with a complete description or tho stolen property, accompanied by a request that the authorities of Governmental museums be warned of the .'theft.
