A meeting of the committee of the Christchuroh Cycling tid Motor Club was held last evening, Mr Thompson presiding. A letter from the North Canterbury Centre on the subject of the Royal Enfield Cup race was read," and it was decided to appeal to the Council of the League of New Zealand Wheelmen against the. Centre's award in connection therewith. The programme submitted by the Motor Committee, consisting of a -fifteen-mile handiqap and a nine-mile scratch race, to be run on the New Brighton beach on Thursday afternoon, May 25, was approved. An offer of a piece of land for a cycle raoing track wa«. received, and consideration was held over to allow of the committee's inspection.
