W. Lukis left for Culverdtn. Captain Colbeck has returned to Chrietchureh from a visit to DiinedJ*. Among the visitors to Christchuffch are: —Mr W. M. Hopkins (Sydney), Mi- Croft (Dtmedin), Mr and Mrs WilMe', Mr G. Gore and Mr arid Mrs Edgar- Jones. The Rev Canon King arrived, tfroan; til© north by the s.s. Tarawera this morning. Colonel Porter, Mr W. F. Massey, leader of the Opposition, and Dr Rawson have been booked for Wellington by the Rotomahaila this evening.
