♦ TWENTY-FIVE BATTALIONS TO BE EAISED. ' United Press Association— By Electxio Telegraph— Copyright. (Received December 18, 8.37 a.mi) LONDON, December 17. /There is a report current, which is generally accepted as correct, that Mr ArholcV Forster, the Secretary of State for War, intends to raise twenty-five Volunteer battalions in Ireland. {Ronghly speaking, twenty-five battalions would mean about 20,000 men. Hitherto there have been no Volunteers in Ireland.)
