On Monday Rowe pleaded guilty to the charges of fraud in the Great Fingail mining swindle, and was sentenced to ten years' penal servitude. (Rowe waa arrested in Canada after being at large for many months, and was brought over to England for. trial. A clerk who knew him was sent over to Canada for his identification.)
