The Wellington Rugby Union's*' team left by the express this nrcrning and were cheered as the train left by local enthusiasts. .They- play Southland at Invercargill on Wednesday and Ofca.g'o at Dunedhi on Saturday. Just 'before tho teami left vie Zetland Hotel, where tihey hdve been .staying, ■whilst in Christchiurch., the manager, Mr D. M'Kenzie. on behalf of the team, thanked Mr E. Fox, the proprietor, and staff for* the kind attentions shown to the team and presented him with a framed photograph of the members of it.
