The quarterly meeting of the Christcliurch Licensing Committee wns held yesterday at the Magistrate's Court ; present — Messrs W. R. Haselden, S.M. (chairman), J. Hamilton, F. Trent and S. S. Blackburne. The following transfers were granted : — Tattersall's Hotel, Patrick Burke to G. W. Fraser (Mr Hunt) ; His Lordship's Hotel, Emily Helmling to Patrick Burke ; Royal Hotel, John Cusack to Donald M'Donald (Mr "Wright) : Al Hotel, Edwin Fox to Patrick Devane :.(Mr Bruges) ; Oxford Hotel, J. J. Maher to T. A. Daley (Mr Hoban). ■'
