DANGER OF FUNERAL CANDLES.
The burial, at Naples, last month, of a little girl of three, was the occasion of a curious accident. In accordance with custom, four other little girls were seated by the coffin in the hearse on the way to the ccmolery, each holding a lighted candle. About half-way on the journey, the people in the street saw smoke issuing from the carriage, and it was found that the dresses of all four were on fire. Fortunately, the flames were quickly extinguished, and the children taken to the hospital, where their burns were attended to. \
